I was born in Hungary in ’54, and have been in the US since ’86. Even before moving to the US, while in Europe, I always felt close to America. I think this was the reason I moved, to legally call America my “home”.
The last time I worked for someone (as an employee) was 1989. Since then, I had three companies, sold two. Gave job to more than 200 American citizens. I was unemployed once (in 1988) and did not have the face to ask for unemployment assistance. I borrowed money instead, found another job and paid the loan back. I have never understood how people can stand in line for an unemployment check and claim to have self-respect.
You cannot expect “perfect English” in this web site, and the reason is simple; I don’t have one. But, I don’t want anyone to proof my writings (going on here) because I want to keep them in their original form.
I consider myself a text book “color-blind” person. I am a born but not practicing catholic; my mother is an anti-Semite; my wife and most of my friends are Jewish. Throughout the last twenty-five years, the list of my colleagues included people from Kenya, Puerto Rico, Hungary, Rumania, Argentina, Iran and China. One of the VPs in my previous company was gay. I really do not care where you are coming from; are you a good person or not, this is the only question I ask.
I am a committed fan of the US Military. I support veteran causes every chance I get, and have always been involved. The words “love and respect” cannot possibly describe what I feel about our veterans. In my humble opinion, no matter what job any of us have, under what conditions, unfair bosses, low pay we have to work for; it amounts to Disney World compared to being in Iraq or Afghanistan for ten months, constantly facing the wrong end of the AK-47. So all of us should shut up, and be immensely grateful to anyone who ever wore the uniform.
I have also been a Constitutional Conservative (which is a polite way to say “I hate roughly equal number of republicans and democrats.”I disrespect liberals, look down on them, and am convinced they are suffering mental deficiency. I cannot say “I hate them”, because I have a few liberals among my friends, even in my family. To me, “being educated” and “being intelligent” have nothing to do with one another. What am I basing this sweeping statement? Read the right side of the home page of this web site.
I am a firm believer, that liberals and conservatives (notice, I didn’t use “democrat” and “republican”) will never understand each other. Here is why: for a conservative, 2+2=4. All the time, every time. This equation can come from a white, black, yellow, green orange or polka dot. The person can be man, woman, gay, strait, a transvestite, single, married, or divorced; can be fat, skinny, short or tall, old or young; 2+2=4. For a liberal, 2+2= “what did President Reagan say?”; “what did Obama say?”; “what did they report in MSNBC?”; “it might be the case that 2+2=4, but what if 2+3 also would like to be 4? We cannot discriminate 2+3!” Want an example? By now everyone knows that the black kid attacked the police officer in Ferguson. Yet, liberals still feed (mainly: themselves) the totally false story about racism. Now let me ask you: if multiple (several black among them) sources giving you a matter of fact statement about what really happened, but you, being a Columbia, Harvard, (Brandeis, Berkley, UTC, Yale……) university student and still doing marches by keeping your hands up in the air (signifying the falsehood about “poor Mike Brown kept his hands up”) then aren’t you fulfilling all my “liberal criteria” in this writing? I mean you just cannot consider facts, because they do not fit into your predetermined concept. In other words, you are knowingly fooling yourself. In other words, you are an idiot.
So, when you are a conservative, and you go: “No, based upon data, black unemployment skyrocketed under Hussein” and your liberal friend says, “no it is not true” …that’s where the conversation ends
The second reasoning is even more important; I yet to meet one conservative, who could not, or was not willing to list major screw-ups by any republican president. Try it with a liberal; when the discussion starts, go like this: “OK, I would love to talk with you, but first give me the three most major screw-up Barack Hussein Obama did.” The reply will invariably be dead silence.
I am telling you: it’s not easy, but definitely fun to be a constitutional conservative.
